A WELCOME FROM PTO CO-PRESIDENTS
It’s hard to believe school is almost here. We’re excited to meet new Roosevelt families and welcome back familiar faces as the school year gets underway.
The PTO website was improved over the summer to make information more accessible, especially when viewed on mobile devices. We know how busy you all are, and we will do our best to make communications, registration and events as easy and accesible as possible to all in our Roosevelt community.
The 1st back-to-school morning can be a litte hectic as middle schoolers get in the swing of things and practice their eye rolls for anything parents might say on the 1st day. We invite you to stop by our welcome coffee on the first day from 8:20-9:30am. We’ll have a coffee ready for you outside by Circle Drive on Oak Ave.We will host the Welcome Coffee in the multi-purpose room if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Our 1st PTO meeting will be Friday, Sept.7th at 8:30am in the Teachers’ Lounge. All are welcome to attend PTO meetings, and we welcome volunteers for as little or as much time as you have to give the PTO. Future meeting dates can be found on the PTO website.
It’s an honor to work with so many dedicated volunteers throughout the year and we encourage you to participate in PTO activities that interest you. It’s an excellent way to meet new people and fundraise for our superb teachers, staff and students.
